On this episode of Talking Buffalo Podcast, Patrick Moran is joined by ESPN Buffalo Bills beat reporter Alaina Getzenberg for a fun conversation about her life and career.

Alaina talks about growing up originally in Pittsburgh before moving to Maryland and is quite candid about not knowing she wanted to be a writer before going to college. In fact, it wasn’t until her time at Cal-Berkeley where she joined the school newspaper and it became a game-changer for her.  She discusses living in several places before landing at the Charlotte Observer in Charlotte, North Carolina in 2019 and ultimately in Buffalo covering the Bills for ESPN.

She also talks about being a difficult decision in some ways, and an even more difficult task as he joined the Buffalo beat literally just days before the season began.  They also discuss her feelings about living in Buffalo so far, social media, her colleagues on the beat and several other topics, including a “Fun Fact Finale” designed to give fans an opportunity to learn a lot more about her beyond just the great work she’s doing with ESPN.

Be sure to follow Alaina on Twitter for all her excellent Bills coverage as well as general thoughts and insight @AGetzenberg.
