On the episode of Talking Buffalo Podcast, it’s a #HireJoeYerdon Friday as Patrick Moran is joined by hockey writer/sports personality to talk about a variety of Buffalo sports topics as well as NHL playoffs.

Showing he’s capable of talking about more than hockey, Joe has thoughts on the Buffalo Bills signing head coach Sean McDermott to a six-year extension, the significance of culture as well as Dion Dawkins also signing an extension and thoughts about guys playing out the final year of their contracts.

They also spend some time talking baseball on the heels of two Toronto Blue Jays games in Buffalo this week in addition to a candid discussion if Western New York would be able to support a MLB franchise.

Of course, hockey talk is still Joe’s go-to and Patrick tasks him with trying to sell a largely disgruntled Sabres fan base why it’s time to start being excited about the potential of the team going forward.

Joe also has thoughts on the NHL playoffs so far, a Stanley Cup prediction and much more.
