On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is joined for his weekly chat with writer and podcaster Joe Yerdon for a conversation focused on biggest takeaways from a Buffalo Bills season ending loss as well as excitement around the Buffalo Sabres.
The Bills went 13-3 during the regular season but that doesn’t mean much to the organization or fans right now after being manhandled out of the playoffs by Cincinnati. The guys discuss some of the biggest things to takeaway from the game and Buffalo’s season, ranging from questioning if Sean McDermott will ever get Buffalo over the hump, to an offense in need of more resources allocated their way and trying to figure out why a team that plays in the northeast is so strongly built around speed and finesse.
As for the Sabres, they survived a recent slide and remain within striking distance in the Eastern conference wild card race as near the end of January—big progress for a team like Buffalo. Joe has thoughts on their recent play, Rasmus Dahlin and a review of last week’s Ryan Miller Night at the arena. All that and much more.
