On this episode of Talking Buffalo Podcast Patrick Moran is joined by Noted Hockey author, sports media personality and friend Joe Yerdon for this special Casual Wednesday episode to discuss a variety of topics, including the Buffalo Bills finding themselves in a dog fight in the AFC, Buffalo Sabres forward Tage Thompson playing to his potential, “Starting Five” draft of the best female vocalists of the past 40 years, Black Friday shopping and much more.
The Bills were embarrassed on their home turf against Indianapolis this past Sunday and the guys still have plenty of reaction from that, including thoughts on the New England Patriots emerging as potential AFC eastern division favorites and who both guys think will end up in the Super Bowl from the conference as of today. They also talk about the lack of vaccinated players in Buffalo becoming a competitive disadvantage.
The Sabres are predictably losing games and rapidly slipping down the NHL standings but the guys focus on three Sabres who’ve showed a lot of promise of late: Thompson, Dylan Cozens and Rasmus Dahlin.
The guys also struggle with who to select in leave off in a very difficult “Starting Five” draft category this week, both hate the concept of Black Friday and much more. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
