YANKEES: Already losers of 8 of their last 10, the Yankees did their best to make it 9 of 11, but the bullpen held on (barely) and New York earned a 6-5 win over the visiting Chicago White Sox.
SABRES: The Sabres added to their defensive depth for 2017-’18, re-signing Taylor Fedun to a two-year, two-way deal. Fedun was a pleasant surprise for the Sabres this year, notching a career-high seven points in 27 games. He had the highest Corsi of any player on the team. He’s dealt with a severe leg injury in the past and had never played more than seven games in a season before 2016-’17.
SABRES: Dave Andreychuk’s wait is over. He’s in the Hockey Hall of Fame.The longtime NHL scorer was part of a seven-person class elected Monday. Buffalo native Jeremy Jacobs also got the call from the hall. He is the longtime owner of the Boston Bruins. The Sabres drafted Andreychuk with the 16th overall pick in 1982, and he became one of the best goal scorers in history. He spent his first 11 seasons in Buffalo, then came back for 2000-01.
BILLS: According to the NFLPA’s public salary cap report, the Bills currently have $13,982,198 in available cap space for 2017. The figure includes only the top 51 salaries for players currently under contract. Once final cuts are made following the last preseason game, all 53 players on the roster will count towards the cap.
WWE: Lavar Ball appeared on Monday Night Raw and that shit was whack, but otherwise it was a pretty good show. Cageside Seats has a full recap.

TV: Syfy is eyeing a television reboot of the movie “Tremors” with Kevin Bacon set to reprise his original role, Variety has learned. The cable network has picked up a pilot for the potential series.
