It’s Casual Friday on Talking Buffalo Podcast, which means Patrick Moran is joined by Noted Hockey author and Maintenance Day podcast cohost Joe Yerdon to discuss a variety of topics, including the Buffalo Bills prospects going towards the NFL playoffs, Covid continuing to set the Buffalo Sabres roster back, a “Starting Five” draft of All-Time TV Game Shows and much more.

The Bills close out their regular season in Orchard Park on Sunday, only needing to defeat the lowly New York Jets to clinch their second consecutive AFC East division and at least home playoff game.  The guys talk about where they think the Bills are at for this time of the year and several of their potential playoff opponents and scenarios.

Meanwhile the Sabres, like many teams in the NHL have been unable to avoid getting hit hard with Covid.  Alex Tuch and Peyton Krebs are among the latest to get shelved and the guys talk frustration over not being able to get a good look at the Buffalo roster in full health as well as insight to the Sabres latest loss against San Jose, despite another incredible game from an emerging Rasmus Dahlin.

They also hold their weekly Starting Five draft as Joe looks to improve to 21-9 overall, this time selecting the best TV game shows of all-time. That plus Patrick talks about adding some video elements to this podcast soon and much more.
