On this episode of the future award-winning Talking Buffalo Podcast, Patrick Moran chats with recurring guest Aaron Quinn from the Cover 1 Buffalo podcast.  Aaron’s making his first appearance here of 2020 after being a regular (16 times) several times before that.

The guys talk about Aaron’s decision to leave Twitter, which turns into an in-depth discussion about the pitfalls of social media.  Aaron felt the excessive time spent on Twitter left him feeling toxic and and doing a poor job of having his priorities in order.   While acknowledging the good aspects of social media he points out the reasons that finally made him conclude he’s had enough, how he feels better mentally these days and other platforms he employs to keep up with getting his sports news and takes.

Of course, they also spend plenty of time talking about the Buffalo Bills on the heels of NFL cut down day.  Aaron details how pleased he is to see the Bills make a football decision rather than financial in retaining veteran defensive end Trent Murphy, as cutting him could’ve rolled over $7 million towards the 2021 salary cap.

They also discuss Isiah McKenzie making the roster, moving on from Robert Foster and Vosean Joseph, Jake Fromm in the mix, Tre White’s much deserved monster extension and much more.
