It’s Casual Friday at Talking Buffalo Podcast and Patrick Moran is joined by sports writer Joe Yerdon to discuss several topics, including a big controversy brewing with the Buffalo Bills involving Covid vaccination, the lack of public information regarding the Buffalo Sabres head coaching search and the weekly “Starting Five” draft, this week featuring original HBO series.

OTA’s began this week for the Bills and head coach Sean McDermott spoke to the media and was surprisingly candid on his views with the Covid vaccination.  McDermott said he has been fully vaccinated as has Brandon Beane and the Pegula’s and made it clear he wants his players to be as well. However, Cole Beasley was very vocal about not getting Covid shots on Twitter a few weeks ago and there’s plenty of other hints that this is a divided issue among players.  Joe offers his thoughts on this and if he thinks it could become a potential distraction this summer and possibly even until the regular season.

They also touch on the Buffalo Sabres and the latest involving Don Granato and other potential head coaching candidates.

This week’s “Starting Five” draft is HBO series—after Patrick gloats about winning last week’s TV Show Theme Songs draft.  Can he make it two in a row?
