On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran moves past the disappointing of the Buffalo Bills losing in the AFC championship to focus on plenty of reasons the team and fans have to celebrate a successful 2024 season.
Losing to the Chiefs for the fourth time in five years was and remains a bitter pillow to swallow for sure. That said, there’s a lot of things that went well enough for Buffalo to be able to look back on fondly. Patrick hits on a lot of those things, including a team that tied a franchise record for most wins in a season, went undefeated at home for the first time since 1991 and just the third time in team history, tied a NFL record by scoring at least 30 points in eight straight games and leading the AFC in points differential.
Josh Allen probably won’t win MVP but Patrick has maintained he deserves it. He spends a segment explaining exactly why, highlighting his ability to do more with less in 2024 and often saving his best games and moments for the biggest stages.
He also talks about the offensive line being every bit as good as it was last year, Brandon Beane making mostly right moves with in-house evaluations during the offseason and Mack Hollins turning into a great free agent addition. That plus some quick thoughts on Myles Garrett requesting a trade, Lindsey Moppert departing WGRZ-TV and much more.
Major props to Talking Buffalo sponsor, Sonny Red’s at 1841 Abbott Road in Lackawanna, just minutes from Highmark Stadium. We consider them THE most underrated spot for wings, pizza and other great food in Western New York plus it’s a great place to drink and have a great time.
