On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran goes over some of his biggest takeaways from the Buffalo Bills regular season finale loss at New England, even if the game itself actually mean nothing in addition to some preliminary thoughts on Denver as NFL wildcard weekend gets ready to start cooking.
It’s hard to have significant reaction and takeaways to a game Buffalo played where winning wasn’t the biggest concern. There’s no reason to pour over All-22 film and overanalyze things that almost certainly will mean nothing for the playoffs. Still, Patrick did watch the game back and comes up with a detailed list of four things he liked and four things he didn’t from the game, including an impressive performance from a rookie Patrick thinks just oozes with potential.
From there it’s immediately onto Denver and Patrick gives some thoughts on a team he doesn’t fear but certainly has a lot of respect for. In fact, this could be the best wildcard competition the Bills have faced during the Josh Allen era. That said, Patrick points out some things that make Denver feel Miami Dolphins’ish as well.
That plus the New York Jets want to interview Joe Brady and much more.
Major props to Talking Buffalo sponsor, Sonny Red’s at 1841 Abbott Road in Lackawanna, just minutes from Highmark Stadium. We consider them THE most underrated spot for wings, pizza and other great food in Western New York plus it’s a great place to drink and have a great time.
