On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is joined by Joe From Queens for tons of live reactions shortly after the conclusion of the Buffalo Bills regular season finale loss at the New England Patriots, 23-16, though of course the bigger story is they’ll be facing Denver next week in the Wildcard round.

Sure, Buffalo lost on the scoreboard and fell short of setting an all-time franchise record for regular season wins with 14. However, in “losing” this game they blocked their division rival from having the first overall pick in the 2025 draft. Patrick and Joe have tons of thoughts on New England winning and how they’d feel about it were they Patriots fans.

In terms of the game itself the Bills rested several starters and had but a quick cameo from others, including Josh Allen. The guys talk about what and who they liked and didn’t like from the game and why. As usual Joe puts zero stock in a game that doesn’t mean anything in the standings while Patrick probably puts too much, leading to plenty of bickering.

Obviously the big news of the day wasn’t whether the Bills would beat New England or not, but who they’d be playing in the first round of the playoffs. That answer is Denver. While most people including Patrick are relieved to not see Cincinnati, the Broncos aren’t a team that should be slept on. The guys discuss why, get into yet another heated Josh Allen vs Lamar Jackson for MVP discussion and much more.
