On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is joined by Joe From Queens for live instant reaction shortly after the Buffalo Bills went to Seattle and smoked the Seahawks, 31-10 to take an absolute stranglehold in the AFC east.
With both Miami and the New York Jets both unexpectedly losing earlier in the day, Buffalo had a chance to put a gaping distance between them and everyone else and that’s exactly what they did. Buffalo mostly dominated on both sides of the ball and even when they weren’t, Seattle was shooting themselves in the foot with miscues. Add it all up and it was a mostly stress free Bills win that was all-but-over halfway through the three quarter.
The guys have plenty to talk about in regards to what went right for the Bills, including Josh Allen having another incredible game despite throwing his first interception of the season. The offensive line was spectacular as was both the running and passing games, as Buffalo racked up over 400 total yards. Joe Brady also did a great job of mixing things up and showing more creativity in the Buffalo offense, something clearly carried over from the second half of last week’s game.
The defense wasn’t great but played more than good enough get a win. They also talk about one of the few ugly parts of the game—penalties. Buffalo had 13 accepted penalties on them while Seattle had 11 to combine for the most in a single game this season in the NFL.
Plenty of other topics are discussed as well, including the Bills having an opportunity to unofficially put away their fifth straight AFC east divisional championship BEFORE Election Day with a win over Miami next Sunday.
