On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is joined by recurring guest Matt Warren from SB Nation to discuss a handful of potential Buffalo Bills trade candidates at wide receiver in addition to other topics involving the team and around the AFC.
The past two weeks and especially last Sunday in Houston really emphasized the Bills need to find themselves a productive wide receiver. Head coach Sean McDermott said he’s still confident in the group but even he said there’s concerns with the unit when he spoke to the media. Matt goes over a list of possible candidates around the league that could come in and give the Bills passing game a much needed boost, ranging from possible yet unlikely to downright extremely doable for Bills general manager Brandon Beane.
Also, the guys discuss the confidence level they have in McDermott and his coaching staff after the debacle ending in Houston. They also discuss Josh Allen winning AFC Offensive Player of the Month but still off to a relatively slow start, Beane’s offseason free agent class that’s been noticeably underwhelming through five weeks, why the Bills stink on third down so far this year, a look around the conference and tons more.
