On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran goes over some of this biggest Buffalo Bills takeaways from their wild card round victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers and what they mean going forward as the team looks forward to matchup versus Kansas City this Sunday everyone wants to see.

Patrick likes what he continues to see from the Bills running game and highlights that, including the way James Cook and Ty Johnson were used alongside the legs of course of Josh Allen. Speaking of, we give props to three players who helped pave the way for Allen’s career-best 52 yard touchdown run that put Buffalo up three touchdowns on Sunday.  Also highlighted is pass catchers Khalil Shakir and Dalton Kincaid with their emergence taking some of the urgency of Stefon Diggs needing to put up big numbers every week.

The Bills won the game, obviously the most important factor but it didn’t come without some warts. Patrick talks of concern about the Bills only dropping Mason Rudolph once and also the lousy afternoon for kicker Tyler Bass. Of course, injuries have suddenly become a huge concern for Buffalo again over the past two weeks and Patrick talks about them and the players they need back most going into the Chiefs game.

He also has thoughts on what’s at stake for the organization and some people individually with this matchup, the first road playoff game of Patrick Mahomes’ career.  That and plenty more today.
