On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is joined by writer and podcaster Joe Yerdon for their weekly chat, today centered on the Buffalo Sabres being set up for an exciting stretch of February games but an ugly offseason looming for Buffalo Bills fans.
The Sabres are right in the thick of a potential wild card race with just one game remaining before a 10 day break that precedes a nine game in 18 days stretch afterward. Joe has plenty of thoughts on what’s went right for Buffalo, Casey Mittelstadt turning the corner with his play and what it may take to trade for a big time NHL star.
The guys also spend time talking the Bills, including the realization that they’re clearly the third best team in the AFC as things stand, why there’s probably no quick fix in terms of roster addition and testiness from fans growing by the day. That plus they go over some biggest pet peeves, favorite teenage bands, low energy meals and much more.
