On this episode of Talking Buffalo Podcast, Joe Yerdon joins host Patrick Moran for his weekly Tuesday chat on a handful of topics, including the Buffalo Bills extremely significant road victory over the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Sabres off to an entertaining brand of hockey through their first two games.
The Bills won a road game on Sunday that gives them the best record in the AFC going into their bye and puts them in the early driver’s seat for home-field advantage. It’s a matchup many think we’ll see again down the line and the guys go over several of the biggest takeaways from the game and Buffalo’s first six weeks as a whole.
The Sabres also opened up the season with a victory over Ottawa before losing a close game to Florida over the weekend. Joe has insights on some of the highs and lows of the first two games from a perspective of someone covering the team, including the fast starts from JJ Peterka and Rasmus Dahlin but also a power play that hasn’t clicked at all and what fans should expect on their upcoming four game western swing.
That plus talk about Thin Man Brewery on Elmwood Avenue and plenty more!
