It’s Casual Friday on Talking Buffalo Podcast, which means Patrick Moran is joined by Noted Hockey author, sports media personality and friend Joe Yerdon to talk about a variety of topics, including the Buffalo Sabres continuing to impress their fans and those around the league, the Buffalo Bills back in action this weekend against a down-and-out divisional rival, what Joe’s up to with his Noted Hockey substack and a “Starting Five” draft consisting of Favorite Halloween treats.
As of this taping the Sabres have went 4-1-1 through their first six games and the start has caught the eyes of critics and fans alike. Joe discusses that while the percentage of winning is very likely unsustainable the compete level the team shows under Don Granato should keep endearing them to fans they’re desperately trying to win back. They also talk Craig Anderson being a rock in net early, the great starts of J.J. Peterka and Jack Quinn in Rochester as well as the Sabres surprisingly fast start not showing good dividends at the box office.
They also discuss the Buffalo Bills and a very wide open AFC, who is currently the biggest obstacle to the Bills getting to a Super Bowl, have a very spirited “Starting Five” draft of Favorite Halloween candy and tons more.
