On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is joined by friend and recurring guest Anthony Marino from Buffalo Rumblings to preview the AFC wildcard round showdown between the Buffalo Bills and Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday in Orchard Park, complete with talk about both teams, keys to a Buffalo victory and predictions from both.
There was so much uncertainty last week when Anthony joined the show to preview the upcoming Miami game on Sunday night, not knowing if the Bills would win the AFC east and subsequently lock up the number two seed, lose to Miami but still sneak into the playoffs or lose and miss the postseason all together. Ultimately the Bills handled their business, especially on the defensive side and a result will enjoy a home game in the first round.
The guys spend some time talking about what’s been going right for Buffalo before turning their attention to Pittsburgh, who comes into the game double digit underdogs. Of course, Anthony shows far more respect for Buffalo’s opponent than Patrick as the guys talk about some of the things Bills fans should be most worried about.
One thing they won’t be worried about is All-Pro edge rusher T.J. Watt, who’ll miss the game for Pittsburgh with a knee injury. They discuss that before transitioning into their three biggest keys to a Buffalo first-round victory and make their game predictions.
