BILLS: Last year’s first-round draft pick, Shaq Lawson is starting to feeling more comfortable with Sean McDermott’s defense.
YANKEES: New York scored three runs in the first inning but for a second consecutive night couldn’t hold against the Angels and lost, 7-5 to lose two of three in the series. Red hot catcher Gary Sanchez homered for the Yanks. Ronald Herrera’s debut for the Yanks wasn’t memorable for the right reasons, as the relief pitcher gave up a two run homer to Andrelton Simmons to give the Angels the lead for good. Michael Pineda stunk on the mound for New York, uncharacteristic to his strong play so far in 2017.
SABRES: It’s still unknown if Buffalo will be able to sign former Notre Dame goaltender Cal Peterson before he becomes a free agent on July 1, and his agent is remaining mum on Peterson’s plans.
WWE: There’s a rumor going around that Kurt Angle is going to ultimately return to the squared circle with a match against Triple-H. I’d love to see our favorite Olympic gold medalist return to ring action, obviously, but would prefer to see him compete with a newer generation of talent.
MUSIC: Let’s listen to the legendary Stevie Nick’s new song “Your Hand I Will Never Let Go”, which will be featured in the new drama The Book of Henry starring Naomi Watts.
MOVIES: Rough Night is a new comedy opening in theaters Friday starring Scarlett Johansson, Demi Moore and Kate McKinnon. It’s about five friends from college who reunite in Miami 10 years later for a wild bachelorette party. Here’s a less than glowing review via the New York Daily News.
TV: Want to know who’ll be back for Season 13 of Criminal Minds, premiering September 27? TV Line has you covered.
