On this episode of the future award-winning Talking Buffalo Podcast, Patrick Moran has a chat with Mike Harrington of The Buffalo News about a variety of topics focused on the Buffalo Sabres the “Buffalo” Blue Jays and plenty more.

Fans are getting to enjoy watching MLB live in Buffalo for the first time in 106 years.  Mike discusses what the experience has been like covering Toronto games in Buffalo, the vibe he gets from the crowd, how the reaction to Toronto players has been and is answers if he thinks Buffalo could ever sustain major league baseball if given the opportunity.

They also talk about the Sabres and the misery that continues to haunt the franchise on and off the ice.  Mike has thoughts on if we’ve seen the end of Jack Eichel in Buffalo, ditto for Sam Reinhart and Rasmus Ristolainen, what Kevyn Adams may fetch in the trade market, the pressure that’s on him to make good deals this summer, goaltending and who should be the Sabres next head coach.

Pat also can’t resist asking Mike if he actually enjoys doing podcast and other audio interviews and they have a conversation about some of the challenges Mike and members of the sports media have had doing their jobs navigating through Covid over the past 15 or so months.
