On this episode of the future award-winning Moran-Alytics Podcast presented by 26 Shirts, Patrick Moran welcomes recurring guest Jeff Boyd of the 716 Sports Podcast and the two have a chat about the steady Buffalo Bills and steadily declining Buffalo Sabres.

The Bills went down to Miami in must-win mode after blowing a game the week before in Cleveland.  Buffalo handled their business, disposing of the Dolphins to sweep the season divisional series and the guys are breaking the game down.  They discuss Josh Allen unquestionably having his best all-around game as a pro, the continued emergence of John Brown as legitimate No. 1 wide receiver and invaluable offseason acquisition and on offensive line that deserves credit for not allowing a sack while paving the way for over 100 yards on the ground in the rushing game.

Patrick and Jeff also spend time talking about the defense, including a unit that was finally able to fix their run stuffing woes while dropping Ryan Fitzpatrick a half dozen times, including one each by all four defensive tackles.

They wrap Bills talk by looking ahead to Denver on Sunday, another contest Patrick considers must-win in their quest to get to double digit wins and make the playoffs for a second time in three seasons.

The attention then turns to hockey and what’s rapidly turned into yet another sobering campaign for the Sabres. The guys talk about their struggles or late, including literally anyone not named Jack Eichel being able to score a goal over the past three games.
