Training camp for the Buffalo Bills started this week and while there’s obviously not much to report about on-field stuff, there’s plenty of stuff to discuss off the field. Joe has thoughts on general manager Brandon Beane’s press conference earlier this week, Cole Beasley’s statement about Covid vaccinations, two Bills offensive lineman missing the start of camp with Covid protocols and more.
Of course, it’s the Sabres that’ve made the big sports news in Buffalo of late, trading two star players away but still have Jack Eichel on the roster. Pat and Joe talk about how Jack’s injury treatment, some criticism levied at him by a former teammate and how they expect the situation to ultimately be resolved as well as thoughts on Linus Ullmark bolting for Boston.
In honor of the Summer Olympics going on in Tokyo, this week’s “Starting Five” has Joe and Pat drafting their favorite Olympics (summer or winter) sports.
