On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran has his weekly thoughts and observations on the Buffalo Bills after watching the coaches All-22 film and analyzing the PFF grades of a crushing overtime loss to the Philadelphia Eagles that now has this team on the brink of missing the playoffs for the first time since 2018.
You saw it live during the game on TV Sunday and film study reveals the same—-Sean McDermott’s decisions near the end of the game are puzzling to say the least, if not cowardly. On the offensive ball it was obvious that Josh Allen deserved a better fate while defensively the film shows it’s pretty obvious that any defensive tackle not named Ed Oliver is not doing much positive at all.
Patrick also goes over some interesting PFF grades assigned from the game, including a mixed bag from the offensive line, Tyrel Dodson coming back down to earth and an extremely worrisome game from former Pro Bowl safety Micah Hyde.
That and plenty more Bills notes, grades and thoughts from a team that very well may have to win their final five games to get to the postseason.
