On this episode of Talking Buffalo, it’s another installment of the “Live from Imperial” series as Patrick Moran is joined by Kris Baker of Sabres Prospects for a a preview of Buffalo Sabres training camp in addition to Kris’ biggest takeaways from the Prospects Challenge series last week in a conversation shot live from Imperial Pizza in South Buffalo.
The Sabres have begun training camp and Kris has thoughts on several veterans and youngsters as the Sabres aim to break their record-setting NHL playoff drought. They talk of expectations, how Jack Quinn will be replaced over the first few months and what Kris is looking to see over the next couple of weeks at camp.
We also get insight from Kris on how the Sabres fared in the Prospects Challenge and on the injury to one of their top prospects, Matthew Savoe during it. That plus some talk about golf, gambling, wings and much more.
