On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran discusses some of his observations and biggest takeaways from Buffalo Bills training camp practice over the weekend and through the four practices he’s been in attendance for so far.
On the offensive side of the ball Patrick has thoughts on the competition between Ryan Bates and O’Cyrus Torrence at right guard being far from formally settled although he has an idea of who he thinks will start. He also has observed great camps from Gabe Davis and James Cook while not being as high on a handful of offensive lineman and saving his harshest criticisms for the quarterbacks behind Josh Allen.
Defensively Patrick points out a great showing from cornerback Christian Benford, a budding roster spot competition between Jordan Phillips & Tim Settle, how Taylor Rapp may be deployed and more.
Before leaving Patrick also points out Kim Pegula being in attendance, the relationship between Allen/Stefon Diggs blossoming and a funny physical comparison involving Bills beat reporter Sal Capaccio.
