It’s another Imperial Live Series episode on Talking Buffalo, this time with Patrick Moran joined by sports sports writer and (most) recurring guest Joe Yerdon in addition to Spectrum Sports reporter Rachel Hopmayer for a conversation about the Buffalo Sabres, the pending NHL debut of Devon Levi and a bunch of fun random stuff taped following dinner live from Imperial Pizza in South Buffalo.
Levi’s set to make his first-ever NHL start at home against the New York Rangers and both Rachel and Joe plenty of thoughts on if it’s the right call at the time and he’s been hearing from Levi and some of Levi’s teammates. Sticking with the Sabres, they also thoughts on how much of a premium Kevyn Adams needs to have on adding talent to the blue line over the summer with an emphasis on continued development.
Of course there’s some football talk and additionally the crew discuss a bunch of random topics including Joe’s favorite Wrestlemania moment, what role Rachel would have in a band what goal song they’d use if he played for the Sabres, wings/food and plenty more.
