On this episode of Talking Buffalo Podcast, Patrick Moran talks with recurring guest Kris Baker from Sabres Prospects about a variety of topics focused both on the Sabres and Buffalo Bills.
The Sabres are at least staying afloat in a shortened season through their first 10 games but it hasn’t been pretty. Kris has insight as to why the team is struggling so much five on five, Carter Hutton being lousy in net, several skaters to find production and Jack Eichel not playing great despite stats that suggest otherwise.
They also spend plenty of time discussing the Bills, including what’s likely to be a big dilemma on if the Bills will have the ability to re-sign Matt Milano and Darryl Williams. Both guys are prominent players important to the present and future of the organization but salary cap issues is almost sure to derail at least one of them returning. They also add a little to the Josh Allen vs Deshaun Watson “who’s better” nonsense floating around Twitter, the possibility of acquiring Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt and much ore.
