On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran has his weekly thoughts and observations on the Buffalo Bills after watching the coaches All-22 film and analyzing the PFF grades of a completely dominant victory over the Dallas Cowboys, 31-10 that keeps the team very much alive in the AFC playoff picture going into the last three weeks.

With Josh Allen not needing to do much last week, Patrick focuses on two aspects of the team most didn’t expect to see Buffalo run roughshod over Dallas with—the running game and offensive line. James Cook is drawing comparison to Thurman Thomas lately with his vision, quick cuts and versatility both as a runner and pass catcher, but it was the offensive line that often opened gaping holes for Cook to take advantage of. Patrick discusses Spencer Brown having perhaps the best game of his career and Dion Dawkins, despite a poor PFF grade playing excellent as well.

Additionally, the film and PFF grades are showing Jordan Poyer is far from washed up, Jordan Phillips having a good game before his wrist injury, Greg Rosseau remaining stout and Christian Benford finally getting a big turnover. That plus should the Bills start taking some reps away from wide receiver Gabe Davis and much more.
