On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is joined by writer and sports media personality Joe Yerdon to discuss a rare double-win for Buffalo on Sunday as both the Bills and Sabres got much needed victories. Is that a sign of things to come for both or just a randomly good day for Buffalo sports?

The Bills took their first step towards salvaging their season by soundly defeating the New York Jets, a team that’s given Buffalo fits in recent years. The guys talk about the debut of Joe Brady as offensive coordinator Joe Brady and some of the weapons that are emerging in the Buffalo offense. They also discuss if it really matters that Gabe Davis is doing nothing statistically and also if it may be time for the Bills to pull the plug on Von Miller for 2023 if they don’t see something soon.

On the hockey side, Joe has insight on the Sabres struggles of late, both in terms of scoring goals, especially on a power play that’s been horrific and also some concerns behind the pipes. On the bright side, the guys discuss Rasmus Dahlin lighting it up again and JJ Peterka having the type of breakout season Jack Quinn did last season.

That plus The Banshee, some Thanksgiving week talk and plenty more.
