On this episode of Talking Buffalo Podcast, Patrick Moran is joined by sports writer and podcast Joe Yerdon for their weekly Tuesday conversation, this time focused on the Buffalo Bills regaining the top spot in the AFC and the Buffalo Sabres continuing to play an entertaining brand of hockey.

The Bills handled their own business last Thursday in Foxboro and then sat back on Sunday and watched everything fall their way.  With Kansas City and Miami both losing the Bills not only took over solo possession of first place in their division but pulled ahead of the Chiefs in the race for the top seed in the conference. The guys talk about the state of the Bills through their first 12 games and what they expect to see over the final five weeks of the regular season.

Meanwhile the Sabres aren’t making much noise in the standings but their young core continues to be worth watching each game. Patrick and Joe talk about things going on with the team from both the glass being half empty and full perspectives.

That plus they talk about Joe’s changes with his Noted Hockey Substack, Patrick getting over being sick, Joe’s Detroit Lions staying in the hunt, a prediction on where Odell Beckham Jr. is headed and much more.
