On the episode of Talking Buffalo Podcast, Patrick Moran is joined by writer and podcaster Joe Yerdon for their weekly chat, this time focusing on the sizzling start by the Buffalo Sabres and the Buffalo Bills coming off their bye week and into Sunday night primetime.

Entering Tuesday night’s game in Seattle the Sabres swept the first three legs of their four-game western road swing, impressively beating Edmonton, Calgary and Vancouver. The guys discuss their hot start and Joe has thoughts on several huge early season developments, including Rasmus Dahlin, Alex Tuch, J.J. Peterka and torrid goaltending. He also talks about injuries that will test the defensive depth for a while.

As for the Bills, they’re coming off a bye this week and prepping to host Green Bay on Sunday night. The guys discuss the game and how badly the Packers are struggling, something that’s music to Joe’s ears. In fact, Joe, a Packers hater admits to being a Bills fan for this week.

Patrick also talks about being sick for the past few weeks, his kid achieving one of his first grown up milestones and much more.
