It’s Casual Friday on Talking Buffalo Podcast, which means Patrick Moran is joined by Noted Hockey author and Maintenance Day podcaster Joe Yerdon to discuss a variety of topics, including some additions and subtractions with the Buffalo Bills coaching staff, an extended break for the Buffalo Sabres that couldn’t have come soon enough as well as their weekly “Starting Five” draft—this week consisting of the best board games ever.

The guys have thoughts on Brian Daboll getting the New York Giants head coaching job and Ken Dorsey being promoted to Buffalo offensive coordinator. They also discuss Sean McDermott and rumors of tension between he and Daboll.

The Sabres are now off until after the all-star break after playing three games in four nights out on the west coast shorthanded because of injury and Covid.  The guys talk about how much of a wreck it’s been with guys constantly in and out of the lineup and how frustrating it’s been to not see the team at nearly full strength. They also highlight a handful of players on the team through the break.

They also discuss Tom Brady’s retirement, Patrick’s biggest fashion pet peeve, the Starting Five draft of the best board games of all-time and much more.
