On this episode of Talking Buffalo, the 2024 NFL draft is in the books and Patrick Moran’s joined by frenemy and recurring guest Joe From Queens to discuss some of their biggest Buffalo Bills takeaways from it in addition to makeup of the roster as things stand.

From round one all the way through the end of the seventh there were at least a couple of surprises Buffalo pulled off, including trading down twice and ultimately out of the first round all together. The guys have thoughts on that decision and passing up on taking Xavier Worthy or Xavier Legette to selection Keon Coleman at the start of round two and pick up a third-round pick.

As you’d suspect neither is happy and particularly Joe that Buffalo didn’t take multiple wide receivers, which makes you wonder if they ultimately would’ve been better off just keeping Stefon Diggs for another season despite any potential lingering drama. That’s discussed as well as Patrick’s theory that the Bills view Mack Hollins significantly higher than many others. Also, are we pretty much blowing Curtis Samuel off?

Receiver debate it felt like a practical and good value draft for Buffalo as the guys discuss all the other picks and what their roles on this team could be for 2024.

That plus a pretty spirited conversation about how committed the Bills really are to trying to win a Super Bowl this year versus being set up for future years and much more. Follow Joe on Twitter @BuffaloWins.
