On this ominous episode of Talking Buffalo Podcast, Patrick Moran is joined for a second consecutive time by buddy and recurring guest Joe from NYC and today they’re inflicting pain on Buffalo sports fans by re-living some of the most traumatic moments in Buffalo sports history.

As if getting by in today’s world wasn’t hard enough, Patrick and Joe make it worse by deep diving into a handful of memories sure to drudge up anguish among the Buffalo faithful.  Topics covered of course include Wide Right, No Goal and the Music City Miracle, with the guys adding opinions and tidbits for each.

They also discuss Steve Johnson’s big drop in overtime, the Bills overtime loss to Dallas on Monday Night Football despite Tony Romo throwing for five picks.  game seven of the 2006 NHL Eastern Conference finals, Chris Drury and Daniel Briere leaving the Sabres on the same day and plenty more, including a handful of moments Joe brings up  Patrick either forgot or didn’t want to remember.

Also, memories of the late WWE legendary Howard Finkel are shared and Joe finishes things off has a hot take on Terry and Kim Pegula.

We’d also like to take this opportunity to wish the best for the parents of one of our colleagues.  Jeff Boyd is a regular segment guest and friend this podcast as well as a key member of the 716 Sports Podcast.  He recently announced his father has tested positive for the Coronavirus. Jeff’s dad is getting better but isn’t out of the woods yet.  We and our listeners all wish Jeff’s dad a full and healthy recovery!
