On the episode of the future award-winning Moran-Alytics Podcast presented by Pulse Cellular, Patrick Moran has a chat with former Bishop Timon high school/UB football star and current Kansas City Chiefs defensive end Demone Harris.

The conversation is focused on Harris’ whirlwind 2019 and an NFL season that’s seen him spend time with three different organizations over the past five weeks before finding a home in Kansas City with the Chiefs.

Demone began the season with Tampa Bay but was eventually cut, brought back to the practice squad and ultimately released again. Days later he signed with Baltimore on their practice squad and spent a few weeks there before Kansas City signed him to their active roster and the early returns have been promising.

Harris played 18 snaps on defense for the Chiefs in Sunday’s victory over the defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots and contributed a pair of tackles. It was the first extensive defensive action of Harris’ NFL career.

Harris talks about Sunday, what it meant to him and the crazy journey he’s been on that’s taken him from football fields in South Buffalo all the way to Foxboro Stadium.

He also provides insight on the engagement ring story that made national headlines last month and admits that the possibility of facing the Buffalo Bills in the playoffs would be extra special.

After that Patrick has a conversation with Jeff Boyd (@JeffBoyd716) from the 716 Sports Podcast about the Buffalo Bills and Sabres.

The Bills lost Sunday against Baltimore in a game that has Moran disappointed but not overreacting. Jeff adds plenty of analysis on the game as well as big picture stuff before they finish with a chat about the Sabres, who are playing better of late and are currently sitting in a playoff spot at the time of this taping.
